Breaking away from being a backing band in 2017, Crenshaw Pentecostal took quickly to writing original music together. Hell, they've all been working professionals in the business years before joining up. Second nature, you know?
Drummer Brian Norris cut his teeth playing aggressive music with The Academy and Deals on Bombs before joining Nashville-based country singer Ross Coppley's band. Bassist Jared Church has been a member of NC americana group Possum Jenkins for nearly two decades. Singer and guitarist Zach Tilley has been writing and performing original music for over ten years, while guitarist Dusty Redmon toured the globe over the past 15 years with bands Beloved, Dead Poetic, and the Almost.
The band makes a fuzzy, dirty, country rock sound, as if Tom Petty decided to front the Replacements in 1990's Seattle. The band released a self-titled EP in 2018, and is currently working on the follow-up LP.
